The Dutch Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority (OPTA), The Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa) and the Netherlands Consumer Authority (CA) and joined forces on april 1st 2013, creating a new regulator: the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), www.acm.nl. The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets is an independent authority that creates opportunities and options for businesses and consumers alike.
