The company’s VeriCall software is used by ODMs and OEMs to rapidly design multimedia over IP functionality into a range of wired, WiFi and dual-mode (cellular and WiFi) communications and multimedia devices. VeriCall runs on embedded Linux and Win CE and provides a standards-compliant and interoperability-proven IP communications engine, as well as support for the leading rich media formats for audio and video. The VeriCall embedded voice and video engines support SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), the industry’s defacto standard for IP communications, as well as proprietary communications protocols such as Skype (for embedded devices).
