I'm a technologist, entrepreneur and investor with over 40 years of experience at the engineering, technology and management level in organizations building hardware, software and user experiences. My core expertise over the years has been in the areas of algorithm design, computer graphics, computer vision, video and imaging systems, microprocessor design, compiler design, mobile eco-system, parallel systems, persistent storage design, analysis of massive data, machine learning, software design techniques, design validation etc. Recently, in my roles as an entrepreneur, consultant and executive, I've focused on unlocking value in emerging fields and untapped market opportunities. I'm very passionate about digitizing the vast amount of loosely connected, unstructured data so hidden relationships and inferences between these data elements can be liberated that can lead to the evolution of smarter systems.
