Allen has been instrumental in starting, growing, and profitably exiting Internet and software companies for over 2 decades. In addition to the tech world, he's branched out to become involved in alternative small business lending (Homegrown & Upperline Capital), caffeinated ventures (Brash Coffee), and trash (Raintree Waste). Current: Head of Partnerships-Homegrown Managing Partner of Upperline Capital, providing short-term alternative lending solutions to small businesses. Co-owner of Brash Pours LLC, Leading coffee purveyor in Atlanta. 4 retail locations, roastery and coffee sold in Whole Foods Market. Past experience: In 1997, Allen self-funded and co-founded HyperMart, a pioneer in the web hosting industry. Graber was responsible for all operational, financial, and business affairs of this start-up venture. HyperMart was subsequently bought by Go2Net, a publicly traded Internet company in Seattle where he remained in an operating capacity through 1999. During 2000 and beyond, Allen has focused his efforts on investing in and working with early-stage technology companies. Allen was a founding member of the Atlanta Technology Angels. He has invested his personal funds in many Atlanta-based Internet and software companies, achieving an overall positive return on investment through the process. From 2004 to 2007, Allen invested in and worked as SVP, Business Development for SearchIgnite (now called IgnitionOne). SearchIgnite is a leading search bid management and portfolio optimization technology. From 2008 to 2010, Allen worked in a sales and business development capacity at ShopVisible, a leading ecommerce solution. Allen was a founding partner of Shotput Ventures, a technology startup accelerator fund that focuses on capital-light web services companies. Board of directors of ShopVisible.com, an ecommerce platform company. <Acquired by Epicor in 2015> Investor/Board Member of Raintree Waste LLC, a commercial waste management and recycling solutions business based in Atlanta, GA (acquired by Republic Services, July 2020)
