Summary
Computer professional with over 28 years' experience. From computer games for the ZX Spectrum 'back in the day', to SAP ABAP programming, to SAP ABAP performance optimisation, to SAP BW and especially BI-IP and then SAP BPC Netweaver, always with performance at heart. I spent 10 years as an SAP Consultant, specializing in SAP BW and bespoke ABAP coding for complex projects, from conception to development, rollout and project management. Then on to SAP HANA, with the obligatory certification (one of the first in France), two books written and published on the subject. More recently, I have gained expertise in the SAP benchmarking world, working on BW-EML, BW-AML, B4H, Mixed-Load, all for HANA. This is an area in which I have found a real passion. My crowning achievement is the obtention for Hitachi of the world record score for the B4H benchmark, in december of 2016, repeated in 2018 & 2019 for Bull. All in all, 28 years' of career in a bilingual (English/French) environment, with a splash of German thrown in for good measure. Most of it SAP-based, but also with a healthy dose of Linux, especially scripting, thrown in.
