Summary
Andrew Eisner began his career with Data Service Company, a hardware and software design and manufacturing firm in Norwalk, Connecticut. He was Chief Engineer there when he moved his family to California in 1988 to work for Ziff Davis Publishing Company as Lab Director for MacUser Magazine. He then helped found ZD Labs, Ziff Davis’ central testing labs where he served as Test Manager. He left Ziff Davis to work at SuperMac Technology and Radius, he first headed up the Quality Assurance group and then joined the marketing department doing competitive marketing. Eisner returned to publishing in 1995 and helped start NetguideLive for CMP. He then moved to IDG where he co-founded WebShopper.com which was subsequently merged with PC World. After working as Executive Producer for PC World, Eisner joined a startup called Retrevo as Director of Content, Retrevo was acquired by Shopzilla in 2012. He helped grow a startup in the cannabis industry based in Los Angeles and currently takes on freelance projects involving content and marketing.
