Andrew Ooi started Echelon Talent Management in 1994. Today, he represents some of the top Asian actors in film and television, and with his guidance they have won awards at the Oscars, SAG, BAFTA, Golden Horse etc. His clients have starred in shows like THE LAST EMPEROR, ARRIVAL, CRAZY RICH ASIANS, MORTAL KOMBAT, CSI, ARROW, SUPERNATURAL, 24, two of China’s all time biggest box office hits WOLF WARRIOR 2, and THE WANDERING EARTH; and China’s most watched series THE STORY OF YANXI PALACE which was streamed more than 15 billion times in 2018. in 1999 Andrew began producing. His producing credits include films like 2 time Oscar nominee Hany Abu-Assad’s THE COURIER (Wellgo), OPEN GRAVE (Tribeca Films), SHRIEK IF YOU KNOW WHAT I DID LAST FRIDAY THE 13th (Lions Gate), and the award-winning mini-series DRAGON BOYS for the CBC. In 2023, Andrew executive produced the upcoming feature WORTH THE WAIT.
