Summary

My passion is working on the web. Be it HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, I've always been happiest working with browser technologies. I've had a range of experience from some of the biggest companies in Silicon Valley such as Netscape, AOL Time Warner, Ebay, and Yahoo. I've also tempered my skills in smaller startups such as 1Up.com, Raptr, Ohai, and most recently Roblox. I love all things web and have a desire to work with open source technologies to create great websites. I also have had experience building web based mobile applications for the companies I've worked for and am familiar with responsive design as well as graceful degradation (and progressive enhancement). I also am a published author as well as a holder of a few search based patents. I always pride myself in knowing about that is the next "Next Big Thing"​ and acting on it. I specialize in javascript/html/xml development and have a good background with User Interface design as well. I'm seeing how mobile web and game development is changing the way people interact online, and I would love to find a place where my skills in web development can tie with my passion for web - based games. When I was at Yahoo! I was involved in all aspects of maintaining and facilitating an open source community (YUI) as well as exploring upcoming technologies such as WebGL, node.js, and Google's Go language. My position at Roblox had me diving into .net MVC and working with A/B testing, Jasmine, Selenium and building pages using SASS and Angular. My position at eBay has me working on full stack massive scale websites using Node.js, Java, SASS, LESS, as well as playing the role as Agile lead for my team. I'm also learning new technologies such as Kotlin, Flutter, ReactJS, and most recently Svelte.
