Summary
My profession is one of building up technologies and businesses that let people do amazing things with data. My current and very enjoyable role is working with UK small business owners providing where I can advice and support on product and business development. Entrepreneurs have infectious passion and resilience, I make no secret that I think I get the best deal out working with them. Over the last 12 years I have lots of fun building some of the more interesting types of information systems. I have been fortunate to work for some amazing people and help then tackle some of the biggest challenges in hi tech fraud , organised crime, open source intelligence to name a few . I always remind myself that I am only an accidental technologist. I only got into IT when I figured out that acting on stage wasn't going to pay the bar bill, and professional rugby league was just going to hurt a lot. Professional Goals 1.
