Summary
I have a strong interest in aggressive technology start-ups. I have a broad range of experience on which to draw, from software development and managing a customer support department to operating in the high pressure environment of the Pentagon during a time of war. In the private sector I have developed software throughout the entire project life-cycle, from initial conception, through design, development, implementation, and maintenance. I grew the customer support department of a technology start-up from a single employee (myself) to an entire team of professionals supporting corporate customers as well as a consumer base of over one million. In the military, I flew OH-58 helicopters, crewed M1 tanks, and helped brief the senior leadership of the U.S. Army on operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. As a volunteer firefighter, I have completed a 270-hour certification course (Firefighter II) and taken part in extinguishing house fires, brush fires, and conducting vehicle extrications. All of these experiences have given me a broad perspective and a talent for adaptability. My goal is to join a technology start-up in its early phase of development and to help it become as successful as possible.
