Summary
Professional adviser, consultant to corporate management, entrepreneur and, since 2011, associated with the business advisory firm Optima Advisers. Until recently, a commercial lawyer in private practice, first in Australia and then in Israel, from 1977 onwards. Shifted focus in early nineties to corporate management, serving as Chief Executive and senior operations manager in a string of Israel-based, global-market-facing technology ventures. Arnold Roth's passions were then and remain the ethical and effective stewardship of funder and investor resources, the commercialization of technology, and business development in global markets. As technology business manager, he led Israeli, United States and Australian businesses in a range of domains: commercial and personal productivity software; alternative energy solutions; bio-informatics; engineering services; financial market technology; medical drug development; machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI); simulation and modeling solutions; Internet technologies and social media apps; advanced automotive technology; and technologically-advanced consumer products. At the start of his career, he co-founded Roth Warren Solicitors, a Melbourne-based Australian law firm, remaining there as a partner (focusing on transactional and commercial law) until transplanting his family and professional practice to Israel in 1988. With his wife Frimet, he established the Malki Foundation in 2001. This is an effective, well-regarded and successful Israel-based charity that delivers practical support to thousands of families who home-care for a special-needs child. Its work is strictly non-sectarian; beneficiaries come from all parts of Israel's demographic, ethnic and religious spectrum. He has served as Malki Foundation's honorary chairman since its inception and takes an active, though strictly non-executive and unpaid, role.
