Summary
Arsen Avakian is a serial entrepreneur and operator at the intersection of retail, tech, and consumer engagement. He was the Founder and CEO of CoolerX (now RPM Labs), the first-to-market platform powering in-store retail media for top retailers and CPGs. Under his leadership, the company scaled nationwide, won multiple industry awards from Digiday and others for innovation in AI, IoT, and retail tech, and became the first in the category to achieve Privacy by Design certification. Before CoolerX, Arsen founded Argo Tea, building it into a globally recognized CPG brand and retail chain. Earlier in his career, he led corporate ventures and business development at i2 Technologies, a pioneer in supply chain software, and co-founded Bluemeteor, an early internet outsourcing startup. Originally trained as a computer scientist, Arsen moved to Chicago in 1996 to complete his graduate business studies and has remained deeply involved in the civic and entrepreneurial community. He is a member of YPO since 2013 and has been recognized by Goldman Sachs, Crain’s, and the Carnegie Corporation for his contributions as an entrepreneur and immigrant leader. 🔒 Currently building something new in stealth.
