Arthur Giftakis is the Co-Founder of Trans Global Data Center, Inc., An underground data center that is Nuclear-Proof, EMP-Shielded, Weather Immune, Underground, Military Grade, and Operating on Two Power Grids. Trans Global Data Center, Inc. will also use multiple connectivity layers including fiber, fixed wireless, and satellite communications. His responsibilities included maintaining and advancing the company's network development, customer acquisition, and product oversight for Towerstream's On-Net building and wireless backhaul initiatives. Prior to the COO role, Mr. Giftakis served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations. Mr. Giftakis’ technical vision established Towerstream as the leader in fixed wireless services. Regularly described as a thought leader, he routinely speaks at industry events to share his knowledge and insight on small cells, heterogeneous networks, CBRS, and the future of 5G. Before Towerstream, Mr. Giftakis was a Director at Sockeye Networks, a BGP optimization company that Internap acquired. He has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and wireless infrastructure, having started his career with New England Telephone.
