Summary
In 2019 I relocated to Pasadena, CA, after many decades of living in the Boston area. I provide pro-bono consulting for non-profits through association with Jericho Road Pasadena (JRP) as well as ESC of Southern California. I also serve on JRP's Board. What I am doing with JRP and ESC of Southern California is the type of work I did for a while in Boston after I retired in 2013. I was a consultant with Empower Success Corps (https://www.empowersuccesscorps.org), previously known as Executive Service Corps (ESC) of New England, which provides affordable consulting services to non-profit organizations. In October 2014, I was elected to be on their Board of Directors and in April 2016, the Chairman of the Board. Prior to retirement I was a senior member of the Innovation Group at Monitor Group, a management consulting service with headquarters in Cambridge, MA. While at Monitor, my area of interest was helping companies develop technology strategy and roadmap that reflect their corporate strategy. I was previously the managing partner of FutureAct, a consulting firm focusing on strategy/visioning and technology management, and a founding member and senior executive of IntellectExchange, an innovative start-up delivering knowledge/ expertise management solutions. Prior to that, I was a Vice President at Arthur D. Little (ADL) where I spent more than 20 years, and an engineer at Foster-MIller Associates. I have a broad based experience in the contract R&D and consulting industry spanning 39+ years. I have worked on hundreds of assignment during that time period. I hold a doctorate degree from MIT and am an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Specialties: Management consulting to non-profits, strategy and visioning, scenario planning
