Summary
I have extensive experience building high traffic, mission-critical environments and the teams to support, improve and maintain them. My favorite work is building teams where everyone can do their best work on challenging problems. Fostering trust, motivation, and purpose within and outside the organization is crucial for increasing autonomy and responsibility. I don't like telling people what to do, but I love helping painting a map of where we're going and then humbly supporting the team on our path. Since 2005 I've maintained a monitoring system and a custom DNS server that helps your open source based (and other) systems know what time it is.
