Summary

My LinkedIn account was recently hacked and all my profile data was deleted, I will reassemble it when I get the time. Unfortunately LinkedIn does not have an option to restore this data, so please learn from me and back up your LinkedIn profile and all of your posts! Security and privacy are very broken on the Internet. Atsign is fixing this problem in so many ways. Some day all social media will use cryptographic keys instead of usernames and passwords. Unfortunately we will suffer many more hacks and loss of our personal information until then. Until I can reassemble my background, here is a quick summary: My work history includes moving up the ranks on the technical/marketing side with product marketing positions at SGI and Altos computers. My leadership experience includes being the GM of the Z-Mail division of Network Computing Devices (which I sold to Netmanage), the CEO of Boldfish (enterprise email marketing software that I sold to Siebel), and Co-Founder of LiveBinders (educational software with over 1M registered users). As my friend and co-founder Kevin, used to say, I'm a start-up junkie - I just love building things. We started Atsign in 2019 because we believed that the Internet could be far more secure, privacy-respecting, and safer place. It is a great privilege to work with our amazing team to help customers make their presence on the internet completely invisible to bad actors, and to allow them to sleep soundly at night.
