Summary
I support my clients in aligning AI with business goals, integrating it into processes, augmenting human capabilities. Simply put, I help companies navigate AI and other technological complexities complexities and drive organisational value creation. As a strategist with a broad background in computer science, anthropology, and human augmentation, my focus is on developing and integrating competitive strategy with the appropriate organisational and technological forms. I work with clients to build meaningful strategies that we then execute together to produce measurable value. With a career spanning over 30 years in leading-edge technologies, I've worked across various industries like finance, retail, media, and education, implementing digital solutions for operational excellence. My career began at Apple in the 1980s, where I helped introduce the Macintosh to the market, and I later worked for Steve Jobs' NeXT Computer. I have also served as the Director of Digital Strategy at Deutsche Bank and headed the Europe AI Hub at ThoughtWorks, a global software consultancy. With over 30 years of experiences across a wide-range of industries, I have worked with leading-edge technologies and implemented digital solutions for large-scale companies across various sectors, such as finance, retail, healthcare, media, and education. Throughout all of my roles, my commitment to improving human and business performance has remained consistent. My mission is to support organisations in creating and executing their digital vision and strategy, leveraging the full breadth of their distinctive capabilities through a human-centred approach. I hold a Ph.D. from Warwick Business School, where I explored the relationship between leadership practices and computational objects and their impact on organisational performance. This research was supervised by Davide Nicolini and Keith Grint. My research interests and expertise lie in the dynamics of digital infrastructures, human-computer interaction, and organisational change.
