Summary
Ben Kartzman is the President and COO of Attain, the largest permission-based purchase data platform in the U.S. Kartzman joined Attain in June 2024 where we will be working with brands and agencies to leverage Attain's unique data set to drive real-time measurement and optimization solutions, enabling marketers to drive valuable outcomes such as gaining new customers, retaining existing customers, and increasing customer lifetime value. Previously, he was the COO of Mediaocean, the mission critical platform for Omnichannel advertising, and President of Flashtalking, the global leading independent ad server. Kartzman joined Mediaocean when Flashtalking was acquired in 2021. At Flashtalking, Ben held the position of COO. Prior to that, he was the CEO and co-founder of Spongecell, where he was responsible for managing the growth of the business and overseeing its sales and marketing efforts. Spongecell merged with Flashtalking in January 2018. Prior to Spongecell, Kartzman led teams and managed software products at Accenture, Morgan Stanley, Intel and several venture-backed Internet start-ups. He has been tapped to speak to audiences all over the U.S., Europe, and China on the do’s and don’ts in online advertising. Kartzman graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University with a double major in Information & Decision Systems and Human-Computer Interaction. He often returns to Carnegie Mellon University to speak at online advertising and alumni entrepreneurship events. His byline has appeared in a number of industry publications including Mediapost, IAB, and The Drum.
