Summary
I have devoted my tenure as a professional to people and technology. I like to see my self as a “simplifier” of complex situations. I believe in co-creating technology with its end users. I believe that happy employees are more productive and creative. ..and they have all the rights to know “why” they do “what" they do. I have valued and cherished the journey of building great teams and products, each time I have had the opportunity to do so (over last 20 years). Each such experience spanning across the globe (US, Europe and India), across multiple verticals of networking technology (Service Provider, Datacenter, Cloud, Security Technologies), and with teams of focused ten to fabulous four hundred - has enriched my know-how and stretched my capabilities. However, if I have to pick one, the one of creating a small presence of world class engineering team in India for a networking giant (Cisco Systems), and then growing the size and capabilities to deliver complete cutting edge routers and switches for world’s top service providers, data centers and security products, would be the most noteworthy. I believe, I am very creative about what I do. A good coach and mentor. I advise a handful of start ups in the areas of IoT and Bigdata / Analytics. I love writing. My blogs on linked In as well as blog spot, touch sensitive topics like corporate culture, social issues, and try to simplify complex human thought process. My un-published writings are mostly poems.
