Summary
I founded Global Technologies Corporation in 1981, a consulting and software product development firm which I actively manage to this day. In concert with the development of numerous consumer and IT products, I have joined a variety of clients to assist with early-stage design and implementation. I consider myself a technology innovator and an entrepreneur with almost fifty years of experience in the software product and services industry. Past creations include dozens of commercial software applications, including the highly successful and award-winning LapLink™ communications tool for consumers and the ground-breaking Internet publishing application QuickSite®. Recent large-scale consulting engagements include data visualization, dashboard systems, and Google Apps automation for Yum! Brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell), Singapore MPA, and WorelyParsons. Recent product development includes mobile BI architecture and web services design for Andara, a Balanced Scorecard & Business Dashboard app. API design for GeoPlan. vPBXi, an API interface, and Google Apps integration for call-center reporting and geo-visualization. I'm a founder at Stream It, Inc., transforming organizations and industries by combining artificial intelligence (AI) with advanced sensors to provide real-time insights and competitive advantages. I also work on the CyberLandr team, a disappearing RV for the Tesla Cybertruck. Specialties: AI, machine vision, NLP, real-time networks and analytics; Google Apps scripting development; automation systems and application development; Google Apps integration; mobile business intelligence and data visualization; Internet-based product and services design and development. Despite a deep immersion in technical subjects, I work diligently to be a down-to-earth and approachable person who can listen and apply insightful angles on even the most difficult technical concepts. I am passionate about helping others to succeed in the technology industry and I often served as a mentor and advisor to professionals building unique products and services.
