I decided to scrape my profile here and go inactive due to the cringe corporate grifting on this platform. If you'd like to contact me, find me on 𝕏. I am bitcoiner, family man, and avid outdoorsman. I’ve been funded by Facebook twice, worked in venture-backed startups, and built grassroots communities in twenty plus countries. My career has been about organizing new markets and mobilizing community around emerging technologies. Since 2016 I've been obsessed with bitcoin and its future as a reserve currency. I believe it will bring financial sovereignty to billions. My focus is bitcoin mining on stranded energy assets globally. For a bit more on me: From the Mac, iOS, Facebook platform, Cloud Computing and CleanWeb to Smart Mobility and Urban Tech, I've created national and international communities of customers and developers to take advantage of what's new. In 2008, I was the first recipient of Facebook’s fbFund as the founder a consumer energy efficiency and IoT play. I was a pioneer in promotion and adoption of Facebook Platform; leading "FB DevGarage" events from 2007; iOS as co-founder at iPhoneDevCamp in 2007. At the advent of cloud computing in 2008, I led Developer Evangelism at Joyent, and earlier was a Software Product Manager at the first company to commercialize RFID. I co-authored of "The Smartup Manifesto” ith DEMOS Helsinki, et al which defined the opportunity at the intersection of big data, sensors, cleanweb, and urban tech. As a thought leader, I’ve spoken internationally on topics including bitcoin, open-source software, personal sovereignty, urban tech, and future mobility.
