Summary

My career experience encompasses every aspect of design, image and marketing for the entertainment industry. I have my BFA from Art Center College of Design and have worked in both New York and Los Angeles for many of the major media companies including CBS, Miramax, VH1, BCBG/Max Azria, MTV Networks, Disney, Sony Computer Entertainment America (PlayStation). In my most recent full time position as Art Director for Aol Studios in Beverly Hills, I was responsible for the redesign and packaging of various online shows including; Autoblog, The List: 1001 Car Things to do Before you Die, Translogic, Moviefone, The Zainab Salbi Project. I have also managed production and postproduction of talent shoots for on-air promos. Other projects I managed from conception to completion include direction of talent for shoots, trailers, main titles, on-air promos, show opens and closes, corporate identity, event packages, graphic identity packages, marketing collateral and advertisements. I am intimately familiar with all aspects of production including post-production. I am available to travel domestically as well as internationally. My extensive experience as a motion graphics designer has not only given me a well rounded visual vocabulary but also creative insight into details of creative management. I seek to inspire junior creatives to achieve their optimum potential as designers and artists. I have expert knowledge in all major design software, in addition to possessing sharp design and technical skills and possess journeyman knowledge of the Adobe Suite of motion graphic software. I’ve used Adobe After Effects since it was CoSA 1.0. I am well versed in all the supplementary programs and platforms that go along with the motion graphic design process, and am very good at directing projects through all phases and platforms. With over twenty years experience as a photographer I also have expert knowledge of photographic theory and cinematography.
