Summary

I am a writer and public relations visionary working with organizations to develop clear messages about who they are and what they do. Also, I am a contributing writer at the Washington Informer in Washington, DC. Throughout my career, I have led teams of communications professionals to develop strategies that contribute to organizational goals. My core skills are in writing, cross-discipline marketing/communications, social communications, and strategic planning. In 2017, I was named an "IABC Fellow" by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the highest recognition for career excellence given by this professional membership association. I am a past chairperson for the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) leading the association of 15,000 members in 80 countries. I was the first "person of color" to chair the association. My writing has been published in the Washington Informer, PR News, Ragan Report, and other publications. I wrote chapters for communications/public relations industry training manuals published by PR News and IABC. As a social media implementer, I have been successfully "Liked, "Loved," and "Re-tweeted" by news sites, think tanks, and celebrity/personality sites.
