Summary
Bryan recently retired from the software industry to manage his interested in the many wine related businesses in which he is involved. Although he is no longer full-time in the software industry, Bryan remains involved and has over 20 years of management experience in strategic alliances, business development, and product marketing and management, with over 15 years experience in the software industry focused on Business Intelligence and CRM. Bryan worked with Lightspeed Venture Partners and was recently Co-Founder and Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at an early stage company backed. Before that, he served as Vice President of Product Marketing & Management at Blue Pumpkin Software (acquired by Witness Systems) where he was responsible for all in-bound and out-bound marketing efforts and as Vice President of Business Development at Certive where he was responsible for creating strategic relationships with partners that can extend Certive’s products and solutions. Before joining Certive, Bryan was at Brio Software (now a part of Hyperion Solutions) where he headed up the Market Development group responsible for business development, strategic alliances, and partner and channel marketing. Prior to Brio, he worked in a variety of sales and marketing positions for technology companies such as Apple Computer, Oracle Corporation, and CloudPop, a start-up that Bryan founded and held the position of Chief Operations Officer. He also has significant professional service and strategy consulting experience, having worked with Braxton Associates and Deloitte Consulting leading the delivery of strategy, operations and IT consulting services for Fortune 1000 companies including Motorola, SGI, HP, Toshiba, Kaiser-Permanente and Hughes.
