Summary
I’m Bryan, and since 1998 I’ve helped teams turn design into a powerful force for innovation and growth. I’ve coached more than a thousand executives and led sessions everywhere from the White House to the dynamic floors of the NYSE and the esteemed corridors of Stanford Business School. In every setting, my focus has been the same: helping people make better decisions through design. Along the way, I created Progressive Design. It’s a framework that uncovers what makes the world’s best designers effective. This isn’t just about skills or craft. It’s about how they think, how they lead, and how they consistently drive impact. I’ve taught this approach to designers at Intuit, Dropbox, Uber, and others, helping them navigate complexity, raise the bar, and build clarity in their work. My work brings together design leadership, business strategy, and continuous discovery. It helps people move faster with confidence, make smarter trade-offs, and create products that truly matter. These principles have shown results everywhere, from startups and tech giants, like Facebook, Netflix, and Disney to creative icons like Pixar and even Britney Spears. My journey started at Stanford, where I studied and taught how design shapes better business decisions. Those early lessons now feed into a book I’m writing on creative leadership and how to design decisions that actually stick. Outside of work, I’m a lifelong runner. I competed in college and still run almost every day. Running reminds me that progress comes from moving forward, one step at a time. If you care about building meaningful things and growing as a creative leader, I’d love to connect.
