With over 20 years of IT experience in various industries, I am a cyber security leader who specializes in risk management and information governance. I have multiple certifications from GIAC and ISACA that demonstrate my proficiency and knowledge in these domains. I currently work as a Vice President of Information Security at LPL Financial, a leading provider of financial services and technology solutions. In my current role, I act as a Vice President of Security Architecture, ensuring appropriate security considerations are being applied throughout the enterprise as it relates to net new items as well as areas that are continuing to mature and improve throughout their lifecycle management. I also lead the cyber security conversion activities for large mergers and acquisitions, ensuring the security compliance and alignment of the acquired or partner companies. Previously, I was a business information security officer, overseeing the security strategy and operations for the company in specific business units, and prior to that I was the information security mergers and acquisitions lead at LPL Financial, where I successfully led the security transformation for several companies. Additionally, I have extensive experience in engineering intellectual property protection, leveraging various technologies and architectures to prevent data loss and unauthorized access.
