Summary

In 2017 I accepted the job to create the first off shore branch of Pickles Auctions, the largest and oldest auction company in Australia selling over 250,000 vehicles per year. Our goal was simple, to create the largest auction company in Malaysia as measured by volume and profitability. Now with over 90 employees and warehouses in spanning all regions of the country, we achieved our goal and have set our sights on adding new product lines to cement our position into the future. Building businesses is my passion, previously: Chief Business Development Officer at Car Asia, Southeast Asia's #1 car site, charting the product path as more consumers move from traditional TV, radio, and print to buying and selling cars online. CIO at iCar Asia, taking the company from our IPO to over 400 employees across Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, and driving product and technology to build the largest group of automotive websites: Carlist.my, Mobil123.com, and One2Car.com to list over 600,000 cars for sale with over 6 million unique visitors per month. CTO (Media) at News Digital Media implementing state of the art digital publishing systems to News Limited's newspaper websites: News.com.au, DailyTelegraph.com.au, TheAustralian.com.au, HeraldSun.com.au, 120 community and regional newspapers. Owner, Founder, CEO, President of several start-ups including, Web-X Inc., Mail Mediary LLC, Digital Operations Management LLC, Caisse Digital Management, LLC and XLarge.com. Member of Washington State Congressman Adam Smith's Technology Advisory Committee. Steering Committee member for the Tacoma Technology Consortium, a monthly group of 150+ members dedicated to promoting the technology growth and stability in the South Puget Sound region. Steering Committee member for the Washington Software Alliance (WSA), South Sound chapter, the oldest and largest state-wide technology trade association emphasizing networking, education, technology advocacy, and funding.
