Summary
Christopher J. Alden is the founder of Palace Games, which was rated one of the top escape room companies in the USA [1] and has digital as well as physical escape rooms for consumer and business groups alike. Previously, we was the co-founder of Red Herring, a magazine, events, and online media company known as “the bible of Silicon Valley.” After Red Herring he started Rojo, an early Web 2.0 company that pioneered new concepts in social media consumption & sharing. After Rojo's acquisition by Six Apart, he became CEO of that blogging software & services company until its sale to SAY Media in late 2010. He then co-founded the Tugboat Institute, where he helped to define the core principles of "evergreen" businesses for this CEO membership organization. Evergreen businesses are led by purpose-driven leaders with the grit and resourcefulness to build and scale private, profitable, enduring and market-leading businesses that make a dent in the universe. He left Tugboat to found his own evergreen business, Palace Games, in January, 2015. Mr. Alden attended Dartmouth College and received his degree in history. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two daughters. [1] https://topescaperoomsproject.com/
