Summary
My career has always been about making, nurturing, and strengthening connections. It all started at Accenture, where I was one of the most sought-after and popular mentors in the company. As a top performer, I excelled at guiding people through their careers. I listened, paid attention, and offered practical advice. I connected with my mentees as individuals, and I worked hard to help them succeed. I thrive on interpreting chaos and white space, and helping people make sense of it. I have launched and helped operate six companies and, at each one, connected people to products, processes, and each other. As the Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer, and then, Chief People Officer of Jyve, my primary focus was on organizational health and clarity. Exceptional clarity is only possible when you address conflict head-on — and you can only do that if you connect with people. The advantage of a company focused on organizational health is undeniable: people achieve more in less time, identify problems earlier and faster, and beat rivals who drive away customers and employees with infighting.
