Summary
Hey, I'm Carrie, and I've been in the association industry since the late 1900's. Some say that makes me mature, I say that depends on how you define "mature." My specialty is increasing sales by treating every prospect as a potential champion for your organization and modeling the entire prospect/customer experience around that mentality. I know 'sales' is often a dirty word - my goal is to clean up its reputation! My background in bullet points: -- Started as an association professional in membership and marketing roles -- Became an industry supplier to associations in sales and customer experience roles -- Helped build sales teams and sales operations from scratch at two start-ups -- Been a top-performing sales rep (after starting off as a terrible one) -- Managed successful sales and customer success teams -- Been the association sponsor, exhibitor, and advertiser (a non-salesy one) -- Hands-on experience in all aspects of getting and keeping customers -- Love technology and figuring out ways to do things efficiently. I started Navigate to help associations increase non-dues revenue while fostering better relationships with industry suppliers. And I joined Matchbox because that's what they do (and because their team is frickin' amazing).
