Summary
Rather than make this a recounting of the CV I'll take a second to give some context for how it all fits together. If you want a list of my "specialities" I've dropped that below. Put simply, I'm a storyteller, connector, and coach. Much of my early career was spent in the storytelling bit and expanded to include being a master connector. Over the last 10 years, in focusing my attention on the powerful connection between dogs and their humans, something interesting happened. I turned into a coach. In guiding people to better understand how to be the best steward of their dog's life as possible - resulting in balanced behavior and a stronger relationship with the dog - something interesting transpires. Transformation in the way that person communicates with other people. Yes. By learning how to better connect with our dogs, we can transform human communication, connection and ensure our messages land. So that's the basket into which I now place the eggs (most of them anyway) - helping people unearth and UNLEASH their inner alpha, so to speak. Connecting with their motivation and vision and then turning that around into powerful communication that lands. If you don't feel like grinding through the CV stuff below and need some proof points that I have business chops - some highlights: I headed Business Development in the Bay Area for one of the largest PR firms in the US, ran booking and talent for TechTV and have worked in myriad newsrooms in Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami and San Francisco. Primarily a broadcaster, I have a degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. So yeah, I've done a lot. Specialties: Writing, personality profiling, behavioral trend spotting in business, making people laugh, starting conversations, unraveling meaningless marketing blather - rock solid voiceover talent and damn good dog trainer.
