Caterina Fake is an entrepreneur and investor. She was co-founder of Flickr, almost certainly the best photo sharing site in the world, and served as Chairman of Etsy. She was named to the Time 100 Most Influential People in the World. She has repeatedly been named one of the Top 25 Women Investors by Business Insider, and was inducted into the Angel Investor Hall of Fame. She works closely with founders through her venture fund, Yes VC, which invests in Climate, AI, Health and Longevity, Energy and Defense. Caterina is the host of the podcasts Ingenious and Should This Exist? with over 4 million downloads which reached #1 on Apple Podcasts. She serves on the non-profit boards of The Sundance Institute, McSweeneys and City Arts and Lectures. She holds two honorary doctorates, from RISD and the New School. Her work addresses the social and cultural impact of new technologies, innovation and creativity—and how we can use our human ingenuity to create technology that benefits us all.
