Summary
I founded Silicon Planet in 2001, a firm that helps technology innovators identify market opportunities and build sustainable businesses around their technologies. For 20+ years, I supported various corporations and startups working in areas like networking, semiconductors, computer vision, and AI. In 2004, I joined Helic, which developed electromagnetic analysis solutions, and I led their Japanese market expansion and secured deals with major semiconductor companies. Fujitsu and Magma invested in Helic in 2008, and Ansys acquired Helic in 2019. I was also an angel investor and board member of Think Silicon based in Greece. Think Silicon developed low-power GPU and display technologies for wearable devices. Applied Materials acquired Think Silicon in 2020. I also co-founded Loctio, which develops an innovative positioning technology for IoT devices. I advise various emerging technology startups and mentor young entrepreneurs through Reload Greece, a UK-based non-profit organization.
