Summary

With over 22 years of personal experience in the events industry, I am fortunate to lead two complimentary companies: RED VELVET + Strong Events. RED VELVET, a full-service creative agency, partners with brands to design and produce memorable and interactive event experiences of all shapes and sizes. We listen to our clients' goals, translate them into innovative and creative concepts, and deliver them with excellence and efficiency. We have won multiple international awards for our work, including the Gala Award, the Woman's Way Award, and the Best Places to Work Award. I purchased Strong Events in August 2023. They are the longest running custom events fabrication shop in Austin since 1991. I am looking forward to continuing its legacy in the Texas market, and we're already on target of building a new chapter, with our most recent inclusion in the Event Marketer's Fab 50 List. Both companies will continue to operate separately with two different teams. I am passionate about creating live experiences that push the envelope, engage the audience, and achieve our clients' desired outcomes. Whether it is a product launch, a conference, or an activation, I bring my expertise in brand strategy, event management, project management and maximizing budgets for every project. I also have a knack for hiring the best people and that's what makes RED VELVET and Strong Events special. In my personal time, I serve as a volunteer executive board member for Visit Austin and Visit Austin Foundation, where I promote excellence in hospitality for our city. I mentor quite a few students that are either current McCombs students and/or want to have a career in event production. My latest obsession is my Frenchie, Darwin, who you can follow on Instagram.
