Summary
Life's too short to do the same thing forever, and I've enjoyed some terrific challenges in a variety of industries and disciplines. But in all of my wanderings, whether it be a speaking engagement in Sweden, a consulting gig on the west coast or even a corporate gathering in London, I've found myself strangely attracted to the local food markets. There's just something about seeing what other people eat that makes the world more comfortable, smaller and familiar. For the last several years, I've been honored to lead Public Markets, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which organizes and operates public markets including the Chattanooga Market, Collegedale Market, Chattanooga River Market and Chattanooga Holiday Market. We have also partnered with many other organizations to provide support services for their events including Head of the Hooch, US Cycling National Championship, US Olympic Committee/Boxing Trials, NCAA Football National Championship, Chattanooga Head Race, Running of the Chihuahuas, and many, many others. Altogether, we currently organize and manage hundreds of significant festivals and events annually.
