I currently have two active roles. As co-founder of True Balancing LLC, I am part of a team that has developed a breakthrough technology in battery management. As president of O'Conner Product Management Inc,I offer consulting services in the following areas: • Innovation - help my clients come up with innovative product concepts to broaden and grow their business • Managing product development - from initial concept to finished product • Setting up manufacturing - onshore (US), nearshore (Mexico) and offshore (primarily China) In product development: • Help my clients develop complete functional specifications for new products • Manage product development from start to finish • Rescue product development programs that are behind schedule or over budget or are otherwise in trouble • Review your product development processes and make suggestions for improving and streamlining them In manufacturing: • Sourcing and qualifying contract manufacturing facilities • Design for manufacturability • Help my clients set up of manufacturing for new products and manage initial production ramp up I have extensive experience managing projects with tight budgets and/or tight schedules. I am usually brought in as a troubleshooter when projects get in trouble - but I prefer to be brought in early to prevent them from getting trouble in the first place. More details at product-pro.com
