I am an accomplished author and seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience at the intersection of technology, journalism, and innovation. The throughline of my work is the creation and curation of executive knowledge-sharing communities, convened to explore opportunities and challenges brought about by technological, economic, and social shifts. I have the keen ability to identify and mentor high-potential entrepreneurial talent and the editorial instincts to create meaningful stories that allow their impact to resonate with wide audiences. For more than a decade, I lead the DEMO Conference identifying and providing a launch platform for innovative and market-changing technology startups. During that time, I ushered more than 1,500 companies with a collective market cap of well over $30 billion to their market debut. As the co-author of The Adaptation Advantage and The Empathy Advantage, I explore the evolving nature of work, identity, and leadership in a rapidly changing world. As an instructor, I guide learners to the mindsets, systems, and tools that help them navigate and find opportunity in the complex and often confusing future of work.
