Summary
Damien has many years of experience building software for start-ups and global corporations. In addition to his work as a software lead for PNC online banking, he was CEO of a leading Java and C# software consultancy, co-founder and CTO at a supply chain software in Silicon Valley that was acquired by Agile Systems (NASDAQ: AGIL), and co founder of one of the first Java consulting firms. He has delivered software for the most demanding IT organizations in the world. He has lectured at Carnegie Mellon, the University of Maryland, and NIST. His articles have appeared in multiple industry periodicals and he has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, ZDTV and CNet. Damien graduated cum laude with a Sculpture degree from Carnegie Mellon University; the training software he developed while at CMU received an EDUCOM Silver Medal and is still used by AmeriCorps to train volunteers.
