Summary
CEO of MONADIC.US and leader of open source engineers for world-changing projects. Achievements include leading engineering and product for Wikipedia (WMF), seven years of building and leading the Mozilla engineering team to create Firefox 3 through 29, Guinness World-Record holder for most copies of software downloaded in a single day for Firefox, founding Mozilla Research out of which we produced: The Rust programming language, WebAssembly, and enabling the Web to host native hardware accelerated 3D graphics games and applications. Created the first Web browser in the world free of critical security bugs with Firefox 4. For the past two-and-a-half decades I've been building and leading engineering organizations with a specific focus on positive, world-changing missions; open source software development to promote a healthy environment for engineering efforts, to connect communities, and support families.
