Daniel S. Aegerter is a Swiss entrepreneur and Founder/CEO of Armada. He works with the founders of companies in Armada’s venture portfolio and has taken an active role in launching several new companies over the last 30 years. He founded his first company age 18 and built one of the earliest digital B2B marketplaces, Tradex Technologies, which was ultimately exited to Ariba in 2000 (Ariba was acquired by SAP in 2012). At the time of the exit, Tradex Technologies was one of the largest software acquisitions ever at a valuation of $5.6bn. Aged 31, Daniel went on to establish Armada as his private investment firm dedicated to back visionary founders.
