Summary
GenAI Wednesday is a platform and event series in Munich for GenAI start-ups, investors, AI enthusiasts to meet, talk, and exchange best practices and views on what's cooking and coming next. My second passion is the mobile world: Mobile phones are so useful. Like some say Your life's remote control. Still, sometimes I find apps and services with a clogged interface. I love cleaning up interfaces and prioritizing what information goes where. I like conceiving & building mobile apps to make our lives easier and more enjoyable. Here's the travel & networking project I am working on: apreet is a productivity app and mobile SaaS play. With apreet world travelers and networkers instantly see where and when they can meet their friends and contacts. As you become more successful, you soon realize it’s people that matter the most. apreet helps you to meet the people you already know while traveling, anywhere you go. 🌍 apreet inspires encounters on the outer edges of your network. Why is that important, you may ask? Well, the answer is in "Chance Favors the Connected Mind" by Steven Johnson. Steve's research explains: “...we’ve found ... so many new ways to reach out and find other people that have that missing piece to complete the idea we are working on… That’s the real lesson where good ideas come from.” The notion of the ‘Connected Mind’ has also been laid out by Malcolm Gladwell in 'Tipping Point': "New ideas often come from people from the outer layers of our networks". 🤝
