Summary
Champion innovation and eager to partner with entrepreneurs building companies for large sustainable long-term growth. Fundamentally believe “attackers” (innovators) have a distinct advantage over incumbents. Go tell the 1980 U.S. Men's Olympic hockey team that they had no business beating the Soviets in Lake Placid! Keenly interested in companies seeking to alter the way we interact and to improve life by leveraging technology. Hands-on in shaping industry shifting changes over the next decade. Focused on fintech/crypto, e-commerce, AI, IoT, next-gen enterprise, health & wellness, food/water- and ag-tech, network and cloud infrastructure and security and that elusive 'next new thing'. Lead Gotham’s investments in YipitData (alternative data) and LendKey (lending platform/network) and maintain close ties with LP community. Proud to have invested in, guided and exited Pivot (trading floor messaging), Massive (digital media/gaming), XOsoft (enterprise SW-Israel), Magnolia (wireless broadband-Israel), Q-Link (workflow SW), System Management ARTS (network mgmt-Israel), Active Impulse Systems (wafer testing), Insulair (insulated cups) and others. Acquirers have included: Google, Facebook, Microsoft, AT&T, Adobe, Computer Assoc, CME, EMC, Philips NV, and others. Advise Planet First Partners and Orchid Black on their missions. Prior to launching Gotham Ventures, ran Lehman Brothers private capital markets group, raising over $15B for global emerging growth tech and non-tech companies. Was an early pioneer in Israeli tech scene, helping pave the way for Israel’s most successful IPOs and M&A deals.
