I work at the intersection of Business and IT. Throughout my career I have helped firms improve simplify systems and processes, improve innovation and product development, and help teams perform. I have directed cross-functional teams with direct responsibility for over 300 staff distributed globally and with over $130M direct budget responsibility. I am known for my ability to bring teams together and discover root-cause problems. My background is a unique blend of consulting and direct line management. I have strong analytical skills, strategic thought processes, and experience with several methods and tools to help deliver financial improvement. I teach as an Adjunct Professor in the McCoy School of Business at Texas State University developing courses and leading classes in Operations Management, Project Management, Business Applications and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. My classes emphasize design thinking, customer experience/customer journey mapping, lean methods, business model development. I remain at the leading edge of business and technology through client work and research. I am an investor and entrepreneur with a passion working with executives and boards of directors of nonprofit and private companies. I am always happy to lend my expertise. Selected career accomplishments include: • Developed and directed the implementation of a new supply chain strategy, enabling outsourced China-based operations driving a 900% increase in return on assets • Led redesign of customer experience processes and tools delivering increased customer retention and projected 11% recurring revenue growth • Created business model and launch plans for start-up venture that resulted in over $40 million in funding (acquired two years after launch)
