Summary
I started my carrier in 1987 in EcoCad, a 3D-CAD software-house based in Pesaro, Italy. Until 1997 I worked on the field as trainer in well-known Italian companies like IVECO and Alessi. Starting from 1997 I was responsible of program management in think3 inc. reporting directly to the Vp of mktg or to the CEO (Joe Costello 1997-2006). Since then I spent most of my working time between United States, Europe, Japan, India and China visiting and supporting the design and tooling departments of high profile companies such as Honda(s), Matsushita, Ford, BMW, Porsche, FIAT, TATA and others. In Japan and China I have been invited multiple times at international Industrial Design forums where I spoke about cutting edge CAD and CAID technologies. I actively collaborated with RD managers in the definition of product specifications and general vision of CAD/CAID tools. This role gave me the very valuable opportunity of spending decades with CAD-scientists like Alain Massabo, Roberto Ciarloni, Jacques Goussard, Thomas Jensen and others. In 2011 I have joined OPEN MIND Technologies AG, undiscussed leader in CAM industry. Since then, I am involved in UI design, demo preparation and Quality Assurance. I have the pleasure to collaborate with Josef Koch, the most innovative mind in modern CAM. Skills: Marketing requirements and product requirements for CAD/CAID/CAM Design and preparation of demos and web-tutorials for mass distribution. Press launch of the products. 3D modeling of surfaces, solids (B-rep), meshes, and “hybrid” on high level CAD/CAID systems (eyewear, jewels, shoes, computers, watches and plastic enclosures in general). UI design, QA process. High quality surfacing in automotive ("Class A"), aerospace, medical, rail and shipbuilding industries. Deep understanding of plastic and metal stamping processes.
