Summary
Stay-at-home man-about-town. I write about technology's effect on ideas. See http://www.weinberger.org/writings for what I've written and a basic resume. Latest book: Everyday Chaos. Before that: Too Big to Know, Everything Is Miscellaneous, Small Pieces Loosely Joined, and co-author of The Cluetrain Manifesto. Most recently I spent two years at Google AI (People + AI Research) as writer-in-residence. Now writing, speaking, and editing a book series on tech for MIT Press. I've been long affiliated with Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. I was co-director of Harvard's Library Innovation Lab. I've been a Harvard Shorenstein Center Fellow and a Franklin Fellow at the US State Department. I've also been a marketing VP and a philosophy professor. (I have a Ph.D. in it.) I am retrying LinkedIn after being dormant on it for, oh, a decade. I want to see if it now better suits what I like to call The David Weinberger Lifestyle(tm). YEARS LATER: Nope, it's not really my cup of tea. Try me at david@weinberger.org.
