Web Development and CI/CD Engineer · Author / Publisher · Digital Mentor I've been developing software professionally since 1988. A lot of that time has been spent putting user interfaces (let's be honest - usually websites) in front of databases. If you need someone who has been in the web industry since before it was an industry (but who also keeps up to date with modern trends), then I could well be your man. More recently, I've been working on a lot of CI/CD stuff - particularly with GitHub Actions. In about 2000 I started talking and writing about my work. I'm a regular at various tech conferences (often delivering tutorials before or after the main conference) and I've written a few technical books over the last couple of decades. And, as you can tell, I've been working in the industry for a long time - for clients from the smallest internet start-ups to the largest investment banks.
