Summary
After graduating with computer science and computer engineering degrees, I worked as a researcher in an area called "Information Retrieval". I stopped working in the area about a decade before it came to be known as Search. I then became a development manager at a large IT organization trying to encourage the adoption of something called "The Internet" without much success. I then went to a well known business school to try to learn about business, with moderate success. I then started a business using a technology called "Artificial Intelligence" (which later came to be known as Machine Learning). I then started another business to build eBooks but stopped about six years before Amazon started selling them. I then joined a company that sold many phones where I was asked to forecast the growth of smartphones. I stopped doing that three years before the iPhone launched. Now I am an analyst working alone trying to explain many things, mostly without success. My work is freely available online at www.micromobility.io and www.asymco.com
