With 30+ years of open source and digital identity development experience as a pivotal contributor to the Perl and Python languages, as well as in launching the OpenID Foundation and OAuth Specification, Hardt has a uniquely practical perspective on the challenges facing society in the 2020s. Hardt career was on the west coast of North America, but has now moved to the other west coast and lives in Lisbon, Portugal with his wife, Jennifer, and their dog.
