Summary
My work focuses on all aspects of solar, energy storage, microgrid, geothermal and biogas project development, acquisition and management. I am active as developer and asset manager and, after more than 20 years as partner with two AmLaw 100 law firms, I continue to represent a select group of clients in transactional matters or as fractional general counsel. Besides being a renewable energy project developer and asset manager, I remain admitted to practice law in California, Germany and most European countries. My work in renewable energies over the past 20+ years has been international with an emphasis on U.S. energy transactions. I have been recognized as the "Renewable Energy Sector Attorney of the Year in California" (Global Law Experts, 2019), as one of the "Top 25 Clean Technology Lawyers in California” (Daily Journal, 2011), and by The Legal 500 US for my work in Renewable Energy (2016, 2017, 2020) and Project Finance (2019, 2020).
