Currently working on climate restoration, David Snyder also helps startups and small- to medium-size organizations in the early stages of development when small efforts can provide large benefits. His experience includes program management and product management at places like Apple, Kaiser, Google, Yahoo, PayPal, and First Data, as well as several startups, for data security, healthcare systems, electronic payments, and mobile applications. Prior to the healthcare, e-commerce, and cybersecurity industries, Mr. Snyder was an environmental engineer working with energy facilities, hazardous materials, and hazardous waste remediation. Also, the Environmental, Health & Safety Regulations Coordinator for a petroleum pipeline company. Early in his career, he was a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician working in hospital Intensive Care Units. He has organized, moderated, and presented at numerous conferences on hot topics in healthcare technology, data security and payments. He produced the Mobile Health Track for the GMIC 2013 conference at Moscone Center in San Francisco, the half-day Blockchain Symposium in Redwood City in 2016, the “Cybersecurity for Medical Devices is a “Team Sport” workshop in 2018 and the “Cybersecurity & the Future of Remote Patient Monitoring” workshop in 2019 and 2020 and "Remote Patient Monitoring Ecosystem Security" in 2021.
